6th edition: The Death of the Transport

Get ready to see a lot of these.
6th edition has been out for a few weeks now and people are starting to get a feel for it.  I think it is becoming safe to say that the days of 5th edition parking lots are at an end.  Transports have lost quite a few things this edition.

6th edition gauntlet: Flyers

Annihilation Barge - Plataforma de Aniquilació...

Today we continue to build a play test gauntlet.  With this one will build a flyer heavy list.  Flyer heavy lists are kind of tricky especially at 1500.  This is because while we have a lot of flyers, it means there is not going to be many points sitting on the ground.

First two games of 6th

So this last weekend I played my first two games of 6th.  It was quite eye opening and gave me a lot of answers into what I believe is going to be competitive.  I posted most of my thoughts in my post yesterday, however I figured I would give a little more insight into my thoughts with a quick summary of both games I played.

The Best 6th Edition Lists

Today I am throwing primers, army lists, and convention out the window.  In the early days of 6th edition if you want to be competitive there are going to be some very clear cut winners.

6th Edition Gauntlet

So unlike other bloggers I haven't really launched into new 6th edition lists yet.  And to be honest, there's a reason for that.  6th edition is an entire new rule system and its not going to be something that will be handled in a couple days of reading the book and a few games played.  Because of this, theoretical list building is kind of the last thing on my plate.

6th Edition: Overlooked Rules

Imotekh the Stormlord

So I am betting everyone has a pretty decent handle on 6th by now.  Not a "lets play a 2 hour game" handle but well enough to get through a game  So today I thought it would be fun to go over a couple rules that will make you do a double take.

A whole new level of math hammer

So its time to begin tearing apart and learning a new edition.  Always a fun time, kind of like when a new codex comes out, except times a billion.  This edition should bring about a lot of things, including an even greater appreciation of the movement phase.   The big change?
